Squeak comes with plenty of tools. For the beginning, you should know these:
The Workspace, a simple text editor that let you do a lot of things.
The Class Browser, the programming tool of Smalltalk and the reader for all Smalltalk code.
The Inspectors, tools that are used to examine the structure of objects.
The File List, the interface to your data storage devices.
The Method Finder, a search tool that helps you to find code.
The Debugger, a tool to examine and to fix bugs.
The Change Sorters, a tool for code management.
The Code File Browser, a tool that allows you to compare the content of a change set with the definitions in your image.
The Form Editor, a simple drawing program that can be used to create bitmapped drawings.
This is not the complete list. Squeak has an e-mail client, a simple internet browser, an interface to a code repository and much more. However, not all these tools can be used in a MVC project, some are only available in a Morphic environment.
